Speaker Engagement Form

Thank you for your interest in speaking at an AHRM event! The Association for Human Resource Management is a professional organization of Human Resource and Affiliate members with companies throughout West Michigan. We hold monthly membership meetings with attendance ranging from 60-75 attendees.

We look forward to partnering with exceptionally engaging presenters who bring expertise in a wide array of interesting educational, progressive, and actionable topics, with focus on furthering the Human Resources profession and development of local HR practitioners, managers of people, and organizations. By sharing your expertise, you will have the ability to impact our members by having information about your program on the AHRM website, sent to our members, and featured in the AHRM newsletter. 

Please take a few minutes to complete the following email-friendly form. This information allows us to consider your topic within our overall strategic plan for upcoming AHRM meetings. This information is shared with the entire AHRM Board of Directors for review. If approved, the Director of Programming will contact you regarding scheduling and preparation for the event. This is the first part of the process to be considered as a speaker at an AHRM meeting.

Program Information

It is important that your session content focuses on educating mid-level to Director level HR professionals and include interactive activities and actionable takeaways. Program run-time is one hour.  We enjoy a little humor, too.

By signing this proposal, I UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL NOT RECEIVE AN HONORARIUM or FEE unless approved by the AHRM Board of Directors.  If selected, I agree to adhere to the deadline schedule furnished by the Director of Programs.  If I need to cancel, I will notify the Director of Programs no later than 60-days from the date of the presentation.  I understand that my presentation is not a showcase for promotion of my business, practice or product, and I will not sell my products or services from the speaker platform.  I understand that this submission of materials is not a guarantee that I will be selected to present at an AHRM meeting.  I understand that if selected, any handouts I may choose to distribute will be provided to attendees without reimbursement from AHRM.  I authorize AHRM to use this submission and biographical sketch for promotional. I approve AHRM to record any meetings that I may be participating in for the use by the chapter in the future.
