Maintain Your SHRM Credential with Recertification

HR professionals may maintain their SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential by engaging in professional development activities that relate to the behavioral competencies and HR knowledge identified in the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge™. SHRM created three avenues by which SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP credential holders can earn PDCs: Advance Your Education, Advance Your Organization, and Advance Your Profession.

SHRM Study Group 

The Institute for Professional Excellence (IPEx) at Davenport University has partnered with AHRM in support of the SHRM Champion status. The Corporate Partnership and SHRM Champion status are a recognition of AHRM’s effort to elevate the HR profession through professional development among members. Through this partnership AHRM and IPEx will work together to bring enhanced education and training opportunities to AHRM members.

The Institute for Professional Excellence (IPEx) at Davenport University offers results-oriented, targeted professional development programs designed especially for busy working professionals. Each program enables participants to develop critical workplace knowledge, skills, and tools that can be applied immediately.  Through the AHRM Champion partnership, IPEx at Davenport University will offer a 20% discount to all AHRM members interested in the SHRM Certification and/or SHRM Essentials of HR Management courses.  The SHRM Certification program (www.davenport.edu/shrm) results in 3 academic credits, and is eligible for tuition reimbursement.
