Workforce Readiness

AHRM has partnered with Family Promise of Grand Rapids to provide job search and career planning expertise in the form of quarterly events featuring a presentation, a panel discussion, and one-on-one meetings with Family Promise clientele. If you're interested in learning more about this initiative please contact Heather Merrick, Director of Workforce Readiness, at [email protected].

With SHRM's newly announced Veteran's at Work Certificate Program, ANYONE can become certified in selecting, engaging and retaining veterans to join your workforce. This approximate 10-hour self-paced, self-study program does not require employers to hire veterans, but does equip HR/leaders with the know-how to do so. For more information and to complete an application, visit https://www.shrm.org/foundation/about/pages/veterans-at-work-certificate-program.aspx
